Wick System

A wick wystem is among the more simple methods and is largely passive in nature.

Plants in containers are suspended above a nutrient-filled reservoir. Wicks of absorbent material are embedded in the grow media and extend down into the nutrient, allowing uptake via capillary action in an essentially on-demand basis.
